Bringing Mere Home" is a story set in a small New Zealand community during the 1980s. The protagonist, Billy (played by Frederick Pokai), is driving home from one of his regular Sunday pub sessions when he comes across a mysterious young girl named Mere (played by Isis Bradley-Kiwi), stranded on the side of the road. Sensing that something is amiss, Billy stops to offer Mere a ride home. Little does he know that his decision to help her will lead to a dramatic turn of events in his life.

Heaven Condominium might seem like a great place to live, but it soon becomes the site of a horrible tragedy. After someone living in the complex contracts a strange disease that causes a violent, zombie-like affliction, authorities lock it down to prevent the spread—with its inhabitants still inside. To try and stop the epidemic, police officers Run and Prat move in, but they soon find that their mission is more difficult than it seems. As the infection continues to spread, the condo residents grow aggressive toward each other, prioritizing their own survival above all else. Can Run and Prat find a way to deescalate the situation before it's too late?

Danny Spencer is a voice artist who is recently bereaved and having a mid-life crisis. As he continues to voice a kung fu bear he must also deal with his friends, including a high school friend, an old flame, two lazy unemployed no hopers, a 50 something who acts like a 20-year-old and two dance music loving students who work with Danny at the voice studio. But none of this compares to the constant stress of turning 40 and remembering your youth.

Jeong-hoon, who is looking back on his life because of his wife who committed suicide without a will, finds the meaning of happiness that his wife longed for, and visits the sea of memories where he found Geon-hee. A short but intense relationship continues with Geon-hee, who had been struggling with her daughter after divorce with her husband, and she smiles for the first time, and Jeong-hoon feels the small happiness Geon-hee gave him on his bus returning home.

In a cold, repulsive and chaotic world a man is searching for true happiness, hoping that the simple things can transform into something blissful. But his attempts leave him in an abyss of loneliness and poverty.
